What's New?
The latest Escape models found here at Haggerty Ford mostly carry over from previous editions. Except for a few minor changes to what features are offered in certain trim levels, the Escape remains the same smart, versatile and safe small SUV drivers from around Naperville and Aurora have appreciated for years. A couple years back, Ford completely redesigned the Escape, adding a hybrid version to the trim level lineup while improving performance in all editions.
Performance and Capabilities
You'll have a few options for what's under the hood of your new Ford Escape here in West Chicago. Most trim levels start you off with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder, providing 181 horsepower with 190 pound-feet of torque. From there, the available hybrid setup which blends a 2.5-liter engine with an electric motor for a total of 200 horsepower and a fuel economy rating of 40 mpg combined highway and city driving. The most-powerful Escape uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, producing 250 horsepower with 280 pound-feet of torque. That top engine option is offered with all-wheel drive only, while AWD is an option with the other two setups.
Safety and Technology
Like you'd expect out of all the new Ford models we have for sale, the new Escape is loaded with smart technology. While infotainment offerings in the base S trim are fairly limited, it still offers onboard Wi-Fi and a small information display screen.
